ST PATRICK’S DAY POP UP

As part of its ongoing efforts to revitalize the Downtown area, Wakefield Main Streets, Inc. will sponsor a St. Patrick’s Day ‘Pop Up’ on Saturday, March 16th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. This fun new event will be held on lower Albion Street, between Main Street and Foster Street, and will feature food from the Pizza Goddess, Vibe Food Truck, House Calls Catering, beer from Ispwich Ale, and music provided by DJ Paul Zermani. Water and soft drinks will also be available to purchase.

Admission for this family ‘pop-up’ event is $5.00 per person and does not include food or beverages. Attendees under 21 are free and must be accompanied by an adult.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to get together with friends, meet new friends and join in the fun of St. Patrick’s Day,” Wakefield Main Streets, Inc. President Bob Mailhoit said. “We hope everyone will come down to see what a ‘pop-up’ is and how much fun it can be!”

The lower end of Albion Street between Main Street and Foster Street will be closed from 3:00 p.m – 8:00 p.m. on the 16th with no parking in that area from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Detours will be in effect.

OUR EXPERIENCE WAKEFIELD CAMPAIGN

Wakefield Main Streets begins its latest #ExperienceWakefield Marketing Campaign. Wakefield Main Streets will be creating videos promoting 15 individual businesses as well as a social media marketing campaign around the videos. Each business chosen by your nominations, will tell their stories, promote their business using the #ExperienceWakefield theme in a branded video that will be shared and promoted in Wakefield and neighboring communities encouraging them to #ExperienceWakefield. We want to show everyone how beautiful and unique our local businesses are.
